  TOP HATS, A MAGICIAN, AND CALVIN COOLIDGE August 22, 2003
   

The President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site has added four elegant top hats to its rare collection of clothing that belonged to the 30th U.S. President. Peter Land of Lebanon, New Hampshire donated the hats during a recent visit to Calvin Coolidge’s boyhood home in Plymouth Notch. MORE More

In a room recently reopened to the public, the Chimney Point State Historic Site in Addison presents “The Light of Dawn,” a continuing exhibition of contemporary art by Abenaki artists. Many of the pieces were part of the first all-Abenaki exhibition that debuted here in 1994 and toured to other museums as a statement of Abenaki culture to the world. Artist Gerard Rancourt Tsonakwa generously donated the collection. MORE More
